This Sean Hurley Signature '61 Precision Bass has been a bitter source of division in our Bass Department, as disputes regarding who called dibs on it have resulted in significant bloodshed, many tears, and even a full-on rumble. But, all of us can still agree that this serial is an absolute monster. It's everything you could want in a Precision bass. Low notes have jaw-dropping mass and width, the midrange packs a Hulk-sized punch, and the highs are fat and clear.
Overall, it nails the warm, woody clarity of the best examples of Vintage Ps we've seen. It's also wonderfully dynamic! If you play softly, it has a beautiful melodious, round, piano-like tone.
