Sonic Evaluation

This serial is one beefy-sounding Strat! It has the classic fifties Strat sound: warm low-end, throaty midrange, and bell-like chiming trebles. In general, it has a surprising amount of punching power, and it responds immediately to your attack. It's also uncommonly vocal--it really sings! Low notes and chords have a pleasing grunt to them, and and lead lines cut through like a ten-foot-tall chainsaw. The bridge pickup is a sparkly, snarly delight, the middle pickup is balanced and full-bodied, and the neck pickup is thick and juicy. The in-between positions have all the cluck and quack you'll ever need, too. If you're looking for a fat-sounding Strat, check this '55 reissue out!
