Sonic Evaluation

When I plug in a truly great guitar, it attracts coworkers to my office like moths to a flame jockeying for position to play it next, and this '65 Tele drew a crowd and a bunch of oohs and ahs after I played a few chords. It absolutely nails the sound of a fifties Tele: the midrange response is broad and throaty, the lows are woody, and the highs are full of sparkle and chiming overtones. It's also super articulate--that classic percussive twang is on full display here. The bridge pickup is uncommonly beefy in the lows and mids with lovely church-bell highs. The neck pickup exudes warmth, and it has deep, clear lows, thick midrange, and an open, lively top-end. If you're looking for Nocaster tone with sixties looks, this serial will draw a crowd for you, too!

Condition Report

This Custom Shop beauty is in magnificent condition. Its frets show extremely light wear, and it shows extremely light signs of normal use with no cosmetic flaws to report. It comes with its original hardshell case and a certificate of authenticity, too!
