Sonic Evaluation

This SG Custom is an absolute slab of musical joy! It has a vintage-style warm, woody voice, a healthy dose of bad attitude, and a perfectly-balanced EQ curve. The lows are deep and clear, the midrange is punchy and crunchy, and the highs are open and sparkly. The attack is percussive and articulate, with just the right amount of sag and compression and gorgeous note bloom. The bridge pickup is muscular, with open highs, a crystalline overtone presence, tight lows, and snarly mids. The neck pickup is fat and clear, with a singing high-end, beefy low-end, and broad mids. Both pickups exhibit outstanding clarity, too. If you're looking to experience unbridled joy while playing an sweet Gibson, check this serial out.

Condition Report

This SG Custom is in outstanding condition! The frets look fantastic, and it shows very light signs of normal use. The only cosmetic imperfections to note are some areas with light checking, the most noticeable of which are on the headstock face and by the treble side of the bridge. All in all, it's super clean! And, it comes with its original hardshell case and a certificate of authenticity.
