Taylor Baritone Series
Heavy Weight Tone
When Taylor Guitars announced the Baritone-8 String, we have to admit, we were a bit perplexed. “A baritone . . . with how many strings?!” “How the heck do you play this thing?!” Little did we know how inspired and brilliant this thing would be when we laid pick to strings. What we essentially have here is a Baritone acoustic guitar…that actually has a balanced response and a present mid-range. There are octave strings on the “G” and “B” which results in a sound that’s something like a cross between a standard tuned guitar, a baritone and a 12 string! The treble and midrange have an incredibly crisp and clearly defined tonality with just the right amount of harmonic liveliness and character to make it speak with a distinctly compelling voice. A baritone beast with a splash of 12 string delight. We invite you to experience the majesty!
