This '95 B.B. King Lucille is a clean, mean blues machine, and it sounds unbelievably sweet! It NAILS that iconic warm, fat, sweet tone of we associate with B.B. King. The frets are in perfect shape, and the finish shows very light signs of normal use. There are a few very light, small dings and scratches, the most noticeable of which is on the bass-side lower bout. There is also some finish checking on the headstock, along the binding, and near the tailpiece stud inserts, and the hardware shows light-to-moderate tarnishing. The pickguard has degassed significantly to the point where it looks a little like a stained-glass window, and we think it adds quite a bit of mojo.
