The dangerously delightful Doves in Flight is an excellent example of the wonderful things Gibson's acoustic wizards can do with maple and spruce. Its attack is crisp, percussive, and articulate. After the pick or finger hits, a warm yet transparent voice emerges from the soundhole. The lows are tight and muscular, the mids are smooth and transparent, and the highs are full of sunny, chiming overtones.
