Wildwoodians, we are proud to present you with another sah-weet guitar from the Fender Special Run series: the 2-Tone Telecaster Thinline. With its Fiesta Red top, white back and sides, an elegant pearloid pickguard, and an ebony fretboard, the 2-Tone Tele Thinline has a retro-futurist aesthetic reminiscent of a fifties hot-rod with fins and a big 'ol V8 engine!

It has plenty of sonic horsepower, too, courtesy of its Custom Shop '51 Nocaster single-coils. These fifties-inspired pickups have plenty of classic Tele chime, sparkle, bite, and twang. But, the semi-hollow alder body also does a lot of heavy lifting. It gives the guitar more openness in the highs and woodiness in the mids, and it also imparts a bit of acoustic-like responsiveness.

The 2-Tone Tele Thinline also plays like a dream made out of butter thanks to a host of player-friendly appointments. It has an uber-comfortable modern C neck profile (which is Fender's standard shape for a reason--it rules!) with 22 narrow-tall frets and a 12" radius. Narrow-tall frets allow you to expend less energy with your fretting hand (especially when bending strings), and the 12" radius (flatter than Fender's normal 9.5" radius) further reduces left-hand stress because it also makes bending easier AND allows for lower setups. So, the 2-Tone Telecaster Thinline is more than its flashy paint job--it's a lean, mean rock and roll machine built for speed.
