Gretsch Masterbuilt 6128CS 1962 DuoJet – Relic
Tonal EvaluationWildwoodians, we are proud to present another Wildwood first: a black paisley relic'd Duo Jet! Yet again, the awesome dudes and dudettes of the Gretsch Custom Shop have indulged our wildest whims us by crafting us another dream Duo Jet, and they have done a truly spectacular job--just look at that killer finish and relic job!
It has the classic Gretsch sound: a growly attack that blossoms in a cornucopia of delightful overtones. The low end is especially rich and deep, the midrange has an openthroated, vocal, quacking quality, and the highs are sparkly, chime-y, and open.
If you're looking for a Gretsch mean enough to please a rock and roller and sweet 'n' tangy enough to delight a country gentleman, this black paisley beauty will get the job done!
