Yet again, the awesome dudes and dudettes of the Gretsch Custom Shop have indulged our wildest whims us by crafting us another dream Duo Jet, and they have done a truly spectacular job--just look at that killer finish and relic job!It has the classic Gretsch sound: a growly attack that blossoms in a cornucopia of delightful overtones. The low end is especially rich and deep, the midrange has an openthroated, vocal, quacking quality, and the highs are sparkly, chime-y, and open.
If you're looking for a Gretsch mean enough to please a rock and roller and sweet 'n' tangy enough to delight a country gentleman, this black paisley beauty will get the job done!
