Gretsch Masterbuilt G6130 1955 Roundup – NOS
Tonal Evaluation
Giddy-up, cowpokes! This Masterbuilt Gretsch is ostentatious-looking, but it has the tone to back it up. In general, this serial has tight bass response and lots of shimmering overtones in the high register. The neck pickup adds some woody low-mids into the mix along with plenty of upper-midrange sparkle, and the bridge pickup is punchy with vintage-sounding trebles that can be sweet and lush or hot and sizzling depending on how hard you pick. This responsive high-end makes this guitar great for country players (pedal steel-style licks sound great on it), but players of every genre will enjoy this Gretsch for its clarity, crispness, and touch-sensitivity.Specifications:
