This Jackson Custom Shop Randy Rhoads model's tone is more attention-grabbing than its finish, which is saying something because this guitar is a head-turner of the highest order! Though it looks and feels like an absolute shredulation machine, it has a tone that sits somewhere between modern aggression and classic sounds thanks to its Seymour Duncan pickups.

The bridge pickup snarls beautifully, with a punchy midrange, muscular but tight low-end, and an open, sparkling high-end. It's also supremely articulate--think hot-rodded PAF vibes. For rhythm sounds, it's glorious, and it gives leads lines exceptional cutting presence.

By contrast, the neck pickup is warm, throaty, and smooth, with a clarity that allows for excellent note separation. Even in high gain settings, it's great for crushingly heavy chord riffs, and it makes leads sound fatter than a cow used to make Wagyu beef!

This Custom Shop Randy Rhoads is in minty-fresh shape! It shows barely any signs of use, and it has no cosmetic flaws to report. The original pickups were DiMarzios, and they have been replaced with the classic Seymour Duncan Jazz Neck and JB Bridge. It comes with its original hardshell case and a certificate of authenticity, too!
