Fender Acoustasonic Player Telecaster
Overview Video
Acoustasonic Boom!
Wildwoodians, our friends at Fender have a penchant for innovation, and their latest mind-blowing contribution to guitar design was the American Acoustasonic series, and they were one of the most popular Fender models in Wildwood history. It's easy to see why--after all, what's not to like? They're acoustic guitars that feel like electrics but produce a wide palette of acoustic and electrics sounds thanks to their powerful electronics. Now, Fender has made these powerful creative tools more accessible than ever by introducing the Player Series Acoustasonic Telecasters! These do-it-all workhorses come with a simplified electronics system with six killer tones that you can easily and intuitively switch between on the fly. Here's a quick breakdown:
Position three is what would normally be the neck position for a Telecaster, two is the middle position, and one is the bridge position. In each position, you can toggle between two tones using the blend knob.
3A: A small-bodied short-scale guitar with a spruce top and mahogany back and sides.
3B: A dreadnought with a spruce top and mahogany back and sides.
2A: A lofi clean produced by the piezo pickup.
2B: A lofi crunch produced by the sonicore pickup.
1A: A classic Fender clean produced by the magnetic pickup.
1B: Sweet Fender distortion produced by the magnetic pickup.
A Cornucopia of Tone at Your Fingertips
As you can see, you can cop a wide variety of inspiring tones using this powerful yet simple electronics system. And, it's a joy to play thanks to its comfortable modern deep C-shaped neck profile, 12-inch fretboard radius, and narrow-frets. All in all, it has the fast feel of an electric guitar, but with acoustic string gauges. So, it feels as good as it sounds!
We're proud to present the Acoustasonic Player Telecaster. We have no doubt its versatility and feel will inspire you to embark upon all sorts of musical adventures!
