Sonic Evaluation
This Mike Stern Pacifica is an absolute workhorse of a guitar. It has all the spank, sparkle, chime, twang, and bite of a T-style guitar (possibly because of the bolt-on construction), but it has a little more meat and heat because of the Seymour Duncan humbuckers. The bridge pickup has muscular low-end, snarling mids, and sizzling highs. The neck pickup has a bit more of a vintage PAF character, as its lows are deep and woody, its mids broad and vocal, and its highs sweet and open. If you're looking for a T-style guitar with more beef and power, this monster Mike Stern signature model will do the trick!
