The Friedman BE-50 Deluxe takes the ever-popular flagship BE-100 and adds even more flexibility to a winning formula. Combining the sparkle of the Buxom Betty clean channel with both a BE and HBE channel for maximum burn, the BE-50 offers an exciting platform for guitarists to expand their tonal palette. This Fire-Breathing 50-watt EL-34 giant is so much more than meets the eye, as Dave Friedman himself was determined to incorporate as much variety as possible into an already stellar concept. The result is a phenomenal 3-channel amplifier, building off of the golden standard of Friedman tone while incorporating a wide variety of voicing switches to dial in just the right amount of sonic magic. A Gain Structure Switch to determine overall gain, a SAT Switch to increase compression and saturation, a FAT Switch to add extra low-end warmth, and a Voicing Switch all add another layer of flexibility to an already outstanding platform. But that's not all: Dave Friedman added Master Thump, Presence and Response controls to adjust not only the tone, but the FEEL of the BE-50 Deluxe, allowing players to determine the overall give and dynamic performance of this incredible amplifier. To complete the package, Dave added another often requested feature: a half power switch, allowing the BE-50 Deluxe to perform at a lower, 25 watt power rating.
