Condition Report

This '72 Twin is in fantastic shape! Cosmetically, it looks great with just a few light makrs, tears, and nicks. It also looks like everything under the hood is pretty much unchanged. The filter caps and transformers are original, and though it looks like a few solder joints have been re-heated, we believe the only non-original part is one grid visitor a previous owner swapped out. The Fender-branded orange-label Utah speakers are original, as are the cones. At some point, a previous owner swapped the tubes out for blue-label Phillips STR387s in the power section and JoLidas in the preamp. It comes with a footswitch that normally came with a blackface amp, but given the year of production it could easily be the original footswitch. Most importantly, it works perfectly and it sounds just as a vintage Fender should: lush, rich, and loud enough to defeat your drummer in the loudness war! We have no doubt this incredible vintage piece will carry you to vacuum tube Valhalla!
