Vintage 1967 Fender Super Reverb
Sonic EvaluationIf you're looking for a classic clean American amp, look no further than this '67 Super Reverb. Thanks to its four ten-inch speakers, it is loud enough to compete with just about any drummer in the world while staying warm and clean. It has tons of headroom as you'd expect from a vintage Fender amp, but it has a punchier, more midrange-forward voice because it has ten-inch speakers instead of twelves. Using the EQ, I was absolute to dial in shimmering, chiming cleans as well as some glorious warm, woody tones. Because it has so much headroom, this amp woulkd function fantastically for a player looking for a pedal platform, too. Of course, the reverb is three-dimensional and inviting, and the vibrato is nice and swampy. All in all, this is an outstanding example of a vintage Fender amp, and I'm sure it will provide some lucky picker with incredible tone for a long time.
Condition ReportThis '67 Super Reverb is in amazing shape. Except for a few capacitors, it looks like it's all-original. This includes the tubes, which are RCAs and Telefunkens. It comes with a cover and footswitch, too!
