Used 2024 Gibson Custom Shop 1958 Les Paul Standard – VOS
A Fantastic '58
What's more delightful than a killer 1958 Reissue Les Paul? They resonate like nobody's business thanks to their hide glue construction. Hide glue is a protein-based adhesive that creates the strongest possible connection between two pieces of wood. Though it is incredibly difficult to work with, hide glue allows for maximum energy transfer and therefore maximum resonance. By building these guitars with premium woods and old-world manufacturing techniques, Gibson has captured some serious mojo!
Classic magic abounds in the electronics department, too. Two Alnico 3 Custombuckers put out plenty of classic PAF tone. The neck pickup is thick and juicy, and the bridge pickup has more bite and punch than Mike Tyson!
And the chunky C-shaped neck profile is a joy to play! You Read More...
