Sonically, this historically made-over '58 Les Paul is a study in contrast. The bridge pickup absolutely nails the "Tele-on-steroids" Jimmy Page-style Les Paul tone, with a sizzling high end, snarling mids, tight lows, and a beautiful woody vintage-style twang. When you flip to the neck position, you are greeted with delectably rich, warm, thick Les Paul tone with broad, vocal mids, deep lows, and sweet, singing highs. In both positions, this guitar exhibits a woody vintage-style harmonic profile with lots of punch and just the right amount of overtones for seasoning. Condition Report

The folks Historic Makeovers do an incredible job of reshaping modern LPs to vintage specs, and this example sounds like Thor's hammer, has immense mojo, and is quite clean cosmetically. The frets show hardly any wear, and they have sprouted ever-so-slightly. The re-carved neck feels incredible, as it sits squarely in the Goldilocks Zone (not too fat, not too thin), and it exhibits supreme acoustic resonance that translates to big tone and endless sustain when you plug it in. To top it off, it sports a super cool wear pattern on its elegant black finish that makes it looks fancy yet dangerous--James Bond vibes! It comes with its original hardshell case, too.
