This limited edition version ups the ante by adding an incredible subtle aged finish for extra style points and a roasted maple neck that furthers the Classic S's vintage tonality and acts as a "wooden tuning fork," boosting sustain and resonance a bit. Not to mention, it's more stable, allowing your setup to remain consistent for longer even amidst humidity and temperature changes, and the darker color created by the roasting looks super cool! The Classic S Vintage is inspired by the legendary sound of the guitars built by a Californian company in the fifties and sixties, and it captures the magic of those classics with great aplomb. With its versatile HSS pickup configuration, you can grab a veritable cornucopia of vintage-inspired tones. The single-coils on their own are warm, throaty, and sweet with a lovely jangle, while the bridge humbucker is a muscular take on the classic PAF, with plenty of snarl, bite, and sizzle. Also, the in-between positions have a lovely vocal quack with plenty of sparkle. Overall, the Classic S Vintage gives you a wide palette of inspiring tones with which you can paint your masterpiece!

On top of its monster array of tones, the Suhr Classic S Vintage plays like butter-coated lightning thanks to a host of player-friendly appointments. A compound 9"-12" radius as opposed to the traditional 7.25" because it allows for easy chording low on the neck and easy stringbending up high while also making lower, faster setups possible. The medium frets also improve playability by reducing fret-hand exertion, which is good, because you won't want to put the Classic S down!
