The '68 Custom Vibro Champ's main appeal is that it packages classic Fender tone in a small box. The deep, warm lows, the sweet, sparkling highs, and the punchy mids are all there, and the clean sound is as luscious as you'd hope it to be. Turn the volume knob up, though, and you'll get a glorious natural overdrive that can even verge on fuzz. It's also remarkably dynamic, and you can really change the character of the overdrive (or the clean sound, for that matter!) simply by altering your attack. And, this combo has a 10" speaker, so you can really feel the full range of this tiny titan's robust frequency response.
