If monster tone is a crime, lock the Reverend Charger RA FM up for life! After all, it is a powerful beast and it has devilish good looks, which is a recipe for danger if I've ever heard one! If you do choose to let this beast roam free, it is capable of producing tones that will carry you all the way to rock and roll Valhalla.

Reverend builds the Charger RA FM with a korina body and a maple top, which makes for natural punchy midrange resonance, warm lows, and a lively, sparkly high-end. It also comes equipped with a roasted maple neck, which imparts a bit of vintage-style warmth and woodiness while making the necks resonate like wooden tuning forks.

Drop the Hammer

Two spectacular Railhammer pickups do the rest of the heavy lifting. Each Railhammer pickup has rail polepieces under the bass strings to tighten up the low-end and polepieces under the treble strings to fatten up the highs. In the bridge position, you'll find a Hyper Vintage humbucker, which produces punchy midrange, muscular lows, and sizzling highs. Flip to the neck position and you'll get warm lows, chiming highs, and touch-sensitive midrange from the Nuevo 90. The middle position blends the two pickups beautifully, too! And, if you desire brighter sounds, you can use the bass contour knob to dial in a bit more quack and sparkle in either position.

Of course, every Reverend comes decked to the nines with player-friendly appointments, and the Charger RA FM is no different. It has a comfy medium oval neck profile, a 12" fretboard radius, and 0.110" wide x 0.050" high frets for optimum handfeel. It also has pin-lock tuners and boutique-quality components like pots and caps in order to ensure reliable performance.
