Freedom. Speed. Power.

Believe it or not, an actual bike inspired the Reeves Gabrels Dirtbike--well, two bikes, actually! Though Mr. Gabrels is best known for his work with David Bowie, Tin Machine, and The Cure, he's also a huge fan of two-wheeled transportation. So, the design for this signature model is an homage to his two favorites: a 1966 Schwinn Stingray bicycle and a 1971 Honda dirtbike.

Gabrels wanted his signature model to reflect the speed and freedom he feels when cruising on a bike, and the Dirtbike's design reflects that grip-it-and-rip-it mentality. One Reeves Gabrels Signature Railhammer pickup in the bridge position pumps out muscular lows, punchy midrange, and sparkly trebles. With Reverend's revolutionary bass contour knob, you can achieve a sparklier, more P-90-esque tone, too. By using the bass contour in conjunction with the tone knob, you can cop just about any sound you'd need to get through the gig!

Furthermore, the Dirtbike's Boneite nut and locking tuners give it excellent tuning stability, and its Wilkinson tremolo system is as dependable as it is musical. The Reeves Gabrels Dirtbike is a seemingly-simple guitar with a plethora of tones hiding in its korina body. Looks-wise, its striking minimalist design serves up plenty of eye-candy for everyone in the crowd at the gig. The Wildwood team invites you to experience the simple joys of the Reeves Gabrels Dirtbike. We know you'll have a ridiculous amount of fun every time you pick one up!
