The Joys of a Junior
Wildwoodians, few things give us more pleasure than a really great Les Paul Junior, and this vintage example from 1955 has brought us nothing but pure joy. It has everything we love in a Junior. The single pickup is quite touch-sensitive, as it sounds nice and round when you play softly and compresses into a beautiful world of snarl and sparkle when you dig in. It's also quite articulate even with lots of gain, which is a good thing, you're going to want to ladle on the dirt like gravy on Thanksgiving. When played through a pedal or a driven amp, it sounds thick and punchy, and it practically drips with overtones. If you're a fan of a vintage Juniors, or just great vintage guitars in general, you'll love this serial!
Condition Report
This '55 Junior is an absolute monster, and it's in pretty killer shape! It has some awesome-looking vintage wear that gives it mojo for days, and it looks to be mostly original except for the knobs. It has undergone a professional refret from the fine folks at Woodsongs Lutherie, too, so it's ready to rip. It comes with a non-original hardshell case, too!
