Reverend Wildwood-Exclusive Robin Finck Signature
Rockin' Robin
Robin Finck has one of the most impressive resumes out of any guitarist out there. After getting his start in various local and regional acts, he joined modern industrial music titans Nine Inch Nails in 1994 and toured the world as their lead guitarist. He then spent the next couple decades ping-ponging back and forth between NIN and the re-formed Guns 'n' Roses (fun fact: he co-wrote much of Chinese Democracy, and played all the leads and solos!). In between those endeavors, he found time to tour with a traveling Cirque Du Soleil show. Throughout all his musical adventures, his fretboard acrobatics and impeccable taste have remained a constant. Now, our friends at Reverend have come up with an awesome signature model guitar to further enhance his legendary stage swagger.
The cornerstone of the Robin Finck Signature is a resonant, lively, punchy-sounding korina body that produces a rich, three-dimensional unamplified tone. The ebony fretboard gives it a fast-playing feel and a bit of extra snappiness and enhanced articulation, too. This Wildwood-Exclusive model also sports a gorgeous flamed maple top that imparts a bit of extra chime, sparkle, and articulation.
When you electrify, two Railhammer Chisel humbuckers pump out glorious sculpted punchy tone perfect for any variety of rock or metal, or any genre that requires clarity, precision, and heat. The Railhammer design (which sprang from Reverend founder Joe Naylor's brain) is ingenious. The rail polepieces under the bass strings tighten up the bass response to surgically remove muddy low-end frequencies and the round polepieces under the treble strings make high notes sound meatier and fuller. This gives the Robin Finck Signature excellent balance and note separation. And, you can roll off Reverend's signature bass contour knob to achieve a brighter, single-coil-esque flavor if you need to change things up a bit.
Power to the Player
Reverend has kitted out the Robin Finck Signature with a metric ton of appointments that enhance the player's experience and while making the instrument supremely reliable. The medium oval neck profile is home to 22 0.110" wide x 0.050" frets and a fingerboard with a 12" radius, a configuration well-suited to most techniques and playing styles (and, it's especially good for bending strings). Also, it has pin-lock tuners and a Boneite nut to ensure excellent tuning stability, and it comes equipped with boutique-quality pots and caps and a Pure Tone jack for consistent sound.
Guns and Roses and Nine Inch Nails, Oh My!
We're proud to showcase the Robin Finck Signature, a fitting tribute to one of the busiest and most versatile players in rock music today. We're sure it will help you make all sorts of joyous racket!
