Sonic Evaluation

This 000-18 from the hallowed halls of the Martin Custom Shop is about as delightful as an acoustic guitar can be! It has a bold, sunny voice with gobs and gobs of harmonic overtones. It sounds extremely lush and three-dimensional even at lower volumes, and its articulation is superb. The low-end is warm and woody, the midrange packs a punch with a velvet glove, and the high is glassy and crystalline. Overall, on the spectrum of bright to dark, it sits somewhere near the middle but firmly on the bright side. As a result, it has a jangling quality that I find utterly addictive. As far as note separation and clarity go, it's world class. That, coupled with its responsiveness, gives the player a wonderfully dynamic, expressive experience. If you're looking for a monster 000-18 with just the right amount of brightness, check this serial out.
