Sonic Evaluation
This 000-28 from the Martin Custom Shop speaks out with a bold, powerful, voice with uncommon vintage character for a new guitar! It has deep, warm bass that response that splits the difference between rich and woody, and a clear, present midrange with excellent thump. The highs are nice and open with just the right amount of sparkling overtones. The attack also has a round, piano-like quality to it, and it's quite easy to maintain consistent attack, as this guitar makes everything sound righteously smooth. A true acoustic ATV (an AATV, maybe?), this guitar can handle business whether you a flatpicker or a fingerstylist.
