This koa Custom Shop 0-28 is simply magnificent. It's warm and woody with a piano-like attack that punches forth from the soundhole as soon as your pick or finger touches the string, and that lightning-fast response time makes it a lot of fun to play! It also has surprisingly robust low-end response, bountiful midrange, and sweet, sunny highs. It produces a strong, punchy fundamental that blends beautifully with the harmonic overtones for a perfectly balanced sound that projects like nobody's business. Single-note lines have plenty of bass, fast runs come through with pitch-perfect fidelity, and chords ring out with beautiful balance.

Although this guitar is a world-beater as fingerstyle instrument, I found myself strumming it just as much, as its well-defined combination of punc hand jangle was utterly captivating. Regardless of your musical proclivities, if you're looking for a small-bodied guitar with a big voice, you'll love this incredible Custom Shop 0-28!
