Wildwoodians, this Custom Shop 000-45 is one of the most opulent acoustics to grace our shelves in recent memory. Sporting all of Martin's top-of-the-line cosmetic appointments and supercharged tonewoods, it feels like the acoustic equivalent of a supercar--a real wooden Ferrari! Decked out in abalone from top to bottom, it looks positively resplendent, and it sounds titanic to boot! It has an Adirondack spruce top, which gives it tremendous projecting power, excellent articulation, and a warm, woody, balanced tone with a strong fundamental. The wild grain Indian rosewood back and sides complete the intoxicating sonic cocktail with deep lows, shimmering highs, and superb overtone presence.

All in all, it sounds robust yet balanced and clear, and its tone works beautifully in a wide variety of musical contexts from strumming to fingerpicking to lead playing. So, while it looks like a McLaren made from a tree, it has the soul of an all-terrain musical vehicle.
