If you use the word "punchy" when describing your dream acoustic, you'll want to take this amazing Collings C10-35A for spin! It has a shocking amount of projecting power, and its midrange has to be heard to be believed. It has a springy, piano-like attack with good percussive articulation, and it is quite responsive with tons of headroom. The low-end is meaty enough to make your ribs rattle but not so beefy it overwhelms other frequencies, and the midrange packs a wide, walloping punch--especially in the low mids! The trebles also have just the right amount of golden-hued overtones. Overall, this Collings punches well above its weight class, and it has a classic, woody, warm tonal character that works beautifully in just about any musical context. As a fingerstyle guitar or strummer, it will do marvelously. If you seek punchiness and warmth, you owe it to yourself to take this killer Collings for a spin!

Condition Report

This killer Collings is in fantastic shape! It shows light signs of normal use: just some faint scratches and tiny dings (the only one that's really noticeable is on the treble-side upper bout on the top). Other than that, there's nothing to report--it's quite clean! The frets show light wear that approaches moderate on a couple spots on the fretboard, and it plays beautifully. A previous owner was kind enough to install a K&K Pure Western Mini pickup and a strap button, so this guitar is ready to rock the stage! Finally, it comes with its original hardshell case.
