Sonic Evaluation

This serial is a perfect example of the 000-28's many charms and strengths, and it threatened to eat up my entire morning because I couldn't put it down! Triple-0s are known for their versatility, and this guitar has that in spades. It works equally beautifully as a sculpted strummer or fingerstyle powerhouse, so it's ready to handle whatever you throw at it. It has a round, piano-like attack that responds with lightning speed to your touch, and a robust, bold, room-filling voice that seems to have been sculpted to remove all flub and mud. Also, it has a lovely balance between rich overtones and woody fundamentals.

The low-end is as warm and chocolatey as a hot cup of cocoa on a winter day and the trebles are laden with silver-hued sparkling resonance. The midrange is punchy with fantastic overtone response, lending single notes lots of weight and chords extra sauce. If you're looking for a dynamic, responsive 000-28 with uncommon punching power and richness, you'll love this 000-28C!

Condition Report

This Martin is in marvelous condition! Its frets are in fantastic shape, and it shows very light signs of use--mostly just some light marks on the back, as the top is pretty dang clean. It has no cosmetic flaws to report, and it comes with its original hardshell case, too!
