Wildwoodians, it’s our fourth-favorite day of the year behind Christmas, May Day, and Halloween! That’s right, it’s Greg Koch blooper reel day! Greg Koch is as funny as he is talented, and the camera always catches some solid gold from him whenever he visits the Wildwood Lair.
Head over to our Youtube page to witness the madness, and remember: mistakes are just accidental jazz!...
Wildwoodians, there’s no wrong way to chillax on a long weekend, but our favorite technique is plug one of our Wildwood Spec Les Paul Juniors into a tube amp, turn it all the way up, and play Mississippi Queen over and over while enjoying frosty beverages until the neighbors either join the party or call the police. If you’d like to learn more about why these guitars inspire us to riff so mightily that we flagrantly disregard the customs and norms of polite society, head on over to our Custom Shop Les Paul Junior page! Also, feel free to give us a call or drop us a line if you have any questions or if you just want to talk about why Mississippi Queen is the beat song ever. How are you going to celebrate this weekend? Let us know in the comments!
Happy Memorial Day weekend, Wildwoodians! With summer right around the corner, we wanted to help you celebrate the long weekend with an awesome sale on some of our favorite pedals, guitars and amps. For a limited time, we’re offering up some killer values on Mythos pedals, Synergy modules, Mesa/Boogie amps, Lowdens, Fenders, and more! Head on over to our Memorial Day sale page to check it out (as always, make sure your drool shield is engaged!). Have a fantastic weekend and keep on rockin’ in the free world, Wildwoodians!
The Wildwood Select Les Paul is an attempt to capture some of the magic of our Wildwood Spec Custom Shop instruments in a more affordable package. Since we hand select the tops for our Custom Shop instruments, we asked our friends at the USA factory if we could do the same thing for this run. They were happy to oblige us, and we think you’ll agree that the cuts of maple we chose are absolutely stunning. Drop us an email or call the store for more details on this delicious Dark Cherry Burst LP Standard (Serial 211630040).
The mad scientists at Strymon have done it again! They’ve taken their legendary reverb machine and boosted every ounce of its productivity. The Big Sky MX takes you from the practice room to the rings of Saturn and off into the multi-verse. They’ve built new reverb algorithms from the ground up, producing a fleet of unique reverb effects from classic analog recreations to interstellar experimental modulation. You now have the functionality to use two reverbs at once allowing you to sculpt the perfect reverb for your sound. Give us a call, drop us an email, or come try it out in store today!
Semi-hollowbody enthusiasts of the Wildwoodiverse, we have a delectable treat for you! A lovely Figured Antique Natural 335 has hit our “Left of Dial” section on Reverb. The gorgeous AAA maple top and thermally engineered Adirondack spruce bracing gives this steed the articulate and percussive attack with oodles of headroom. Hurry with the quickness before Serial 200430021 is gobbled up for good. Happy #FlameTopFriday everyone!
By the beard of Zeus! Another amazing Slow Iced Tea Fade ‘59 LP Standard just arrived from the Gibson Custom Shop and the flame on its hand-selected maple top is exceptional. Interest piqued? Drop us an email or call the store for more details on Serial 941425. Happy #GibSunday everyone.
Zach Broyles from @mythospedals stopped by the Wildwood Lair to have a shootout between a Klon Centaur and our Mythos Wildwood Mjolnir. Check the video out on YouTube and see what differences you can notice between the two, if any!

So you missed St. Patrick’s Day and didn’t get all the gold you wanted? Well, here’s your chance to snag some extra loot! For our most recent Left of the Dial deal, we have a Wildwood Spec 54 LP Standard. This guitar is a beaut and sounds even better than it looks. It does have a small cosmetic issue on it’s butt end, but who doesn’t after chasing leprechauns all St. Patty’s Day? Outside of that, the guitar is incredibly clean and has no issues with sound or playability. The P90s provide snarl and bite, perfect for when you need to play along with “Zombie”. Head on over to our Reverb page to check out this one and maybe you’ll have some luck of Irish on your side!
