The Santana Retro is a tribute to those early pre-factory models that Santana fell in love with during the eighties. They feature a deeper body carve, and their headstocks shape, neck heel, and nut placement replicate the original look and feel of those early eighties PRSes. Alongside the sweet maple 10 top, these aesthetic appointments make the Santana Retro a real heart-stopper!

Sonically, the Santana Retro has vintage mojo to spare. The 58/15 humbucker in the bridge has muscular midrange response, meaty highs, and booming lows to spare. By contrast, the Santana humbucker in the neck position puts out rich, warm lows along with broad, open midrange and singing trebles. In general, it has a rich, thick, creamy sound that will surely bring joy to rock players, bluesmen, and even jazz fusion cats!
