Used 2023 Gibson 1950s LG-2
A Versatile Beast
The LG-2 is proof that big sounds can come in small packages! Fingerpicking is a breeze on the roomy 1.725-inch nut, and the scalloped bracing helps make every note come through with exceptional clarity, but the mahogany back and sides lend this guitar a warmth and depth that you don’t always find with smaller-bodied acoustics. When flatpicked, the midrange really reaches out from the soundhole and grabs you, too, making this versatile guit-fiddle an excellent choice for any acoustic guitarist that needs to cover a lot of stylistic ground.
Condition Report
This '50s LG-2 is in fantastic shape! It shows extremely light--virtually zero!--fretwear, and the body is quite clean, too. There are a few dings on the top, mostly around the pickguard, but that's it. Speaking of which, a previous owner swapped the pickguard for a firestripe-style one, and it looks awesome! It comes with its original hardshell case, too!
