This reissue of one of Kramer's classic shred sticks of the late '80s, and it captures the screaming sounds and eye-catching looks of those pointy-headstocked monsters beautifully. First thing first: it absolutely shreds! It has an imminently shreddable neck thanks to its uber-comfy slim C profile and 16" fretboard radius, which allows for easy bending and super low setups. The NightSwan also has a deeper cutaway to allow easier access to all 24 frets--a must if one wants to achieve total shredulation! At the end of the day, the NightSwan's player-friendly features make for a guitar that plays faster than a butter-coated Ferrari!

Perhaps more importantly, the NightSwan has absolutely blistering tone thanks to its pair of Seymour Duncan JB humbuckers. There's a reason the JB is one of the most popular pickups ever wound: its lows are muscular and full, its highs are articulate and precise, and the midrange packs a vocal punch. They also have juuuuuuust the right amount of heat: not so much that you lose dynamic control, but enough that your amp's front-end will feel the burn in a beautiful way. And when you hit the right squealing harmonic, the Floyd Rose vibrato allows you to divebomb away without fear of losing tune (because who doesn't love to make dinosaur noises with their guitar?).
