Used 2020 James Tyler Tylerbastar
Sonic Evaluation
This Tyler is one of the beastliest T-style guitars I've ever had the pleasure of plugging in! It has a ridiculously articulate, sponge-y attack that captures every detail of your pick stroke. After the initial snap of the attack, this guitar's resonance blooms into a warm, full-bodied, 3D voice. Its midrange packs a walloping woody punch, its highs sear and sizzle, and the low-end is robust without being mushy. The bridge pickup has the perfect blend of punch, sparkle, and chime for rhythm work, and it gives you a wonderful cutting lead tone. The neck pickup is throaty and fat-sounding, but it has a lively, open high-end that promotes clarity and articulation amid the gristle. Anyone looking for a T-style guitar with some serious muscle will love this Tylerbastar!
