James Tyler Studio Elite HD
This Studio Elite HD from our friends at James Tyler is filled to the brim with soul and mojo. It just has a little bit of extra grit and growl, which I find tremendously inspiring. The bridge pickup nails the raspy midrange of a vintage-style PAF, but it has a bit more bottom-end and a little more sizzle in the highs. The middle pickup is well-balanced with strong resonance across the board. The upper midrange is chirpy and vocal, the low-mids are present but transparent, the highs are sunny, and the lows are full but not flubby. In the neck position, the lows are robust, the midrange is throaty and wide, and the highs are glassy and cutting. Anyone searching for an S-style guitar with a little extra snarl and attitude will love this terrific Tyler!
