This Wood Library PRS Custom 24 is a perfect example of how sweet korina-bodied guitars sound. It has a round, woody attack that gives way to muscular midrange, lively highs, and solid lows. The two David Allen humbuckers are lovely, too. In the bridge position, you'll find surprisingly rich low-end, plenty of snarl and rasp in the midrange, and sparkling highs. The two in-between positions on the 5-way "super switch" have a Strat-like quality. They provide plenty of chime and quack, and they have robust low-end. Imagine what a Strat would sound like if it ate a Les Paul and you'll get a rough idea of the tone. Finally, the neck humbucker produces rich low-end, broad midrange, and open highs with just the right amount of blooming bell-like overtones. Anyone looking for a punchy, lively PRS will love this serial!
This PRS is in superb condition, and it shows virtually no signs of play wear. A previous owner swapped out the original PRS pickups for David Allen humbuckers, which sound awesome! If you'd like to do a shoot-out, the original humbuckers are in the case, which is a sturdy black PRS hardshell.
