Sonic Evaluation
When I picked up this Jackson Browne Model 1, my creative think tank was decidedly NOT running on empty! It astonished with both its cannon-like power AND its responsiveness. When you dig in, it fills the room in a way that commands everyone's attention (in fact, one of my colleagues poked his head in the door and hollered "Turn that down!" while I was playing it), but it also speaks beautifully at lower volumes. As a result, it has a dynamic range as wide as the the Colorado sky out my office window. The low-end response is round and deep with enough punch to rattle your ribcage, and the midrange is broad and woody.
