This Taylor 914 has more sparkles than a gaggle of small children running around at a Fourth of July party, and it gave me the same sort of joy I got when I was little running around with a small stick with fire on the end of it! Truly, this serial is one of the best examples of the Taylor sound I've heard. It has this addictive glassy, chiming, crystalline tone laden with rich, lush overtones that envelop you in sweetness and beckon you to get lost wandering the fretboard. It has an expansive overtone presence, and the harmonics blend with the fundamental tones beautifully, creating a complex bouquet of sound that makes a G chord sound cooler than a G chord normally does.
