Crimson Dawn

Wildwoodians, a new crimson dawn has arrived along with a sweet Custom Shop L-5 CES! You see, this guitar was built by the the GIbson Crimson Division, which handled all of the particularly ornate builds at the Custom Shop (and it comes with a special COA to commemorate it!). It sounds as beautiful as it looks, too--those '57 classic humbuckers handle business! It does The Archtop Thing impeccably, as it sounds, warm, woody, pure, and articulate. It's truly a joy to play and to look at, and we have no doubt it will inspire some lucky archtop aficionado to embark on all sorts of exciting fretboard adventures.

Condition Report

This Crimson Division L-5 CES is in fantastic shape! It shows virtually no fretwear, so it will be ready to rock for a long, long time. It only has a few small cosmetic flaws: some very light scratches, nicks, and dings from normal use, some very mild checking around the binding and the headstock logo, and some light-to-moderate hardware tarnishing. If you don't mind these small imperfections, this is a great chance to ascend to Archtop Valhalla (which is like Valhalla but jazzier). It comes with its original hardshell case and a special Crimson Division certificate of authenticity.
