The T5z comes in a wide variety of different flavors. There’s the stripped-down, earthy, all-mahogany T5z Classic, which is perfect for players looking for exceptional warm tone at a great value. Taylor also makes the T5z Classic DLX, which retains the warmth of the Classic and gains a sweet shaded edgeburst finish and a hardshell case. Then there’s the T5z Standard, which comes with a spruce top and a beautiful tobacco sunburst finish and has a brighter, sunnier voice. After that, there’s the T5z Pro, which can wear four super-cool finishes (Borrego Red, Pacific Blue, Gaslamp Black and Tobacco Sunburst) on its gorgeous flamed maple top. Finally, there’s the T5z Custom, which sports a jaw-dropping koa top underneath a shaded edgeburst finish. And, if six strings aren’t enough for you, you can get the Classic and the Custom as twelve-strings for all the chime and jangle you can handle.
