Sonic Evaluation

Although its run was short, the Less Plus is a delightful instrument, and not just because it has pun in its name! Apart from the G-Force tuners that make tuning a breeze, the thinner body makes for a very comfortable playing experience while still delivering iconic Gibson tone. You might expect a slim-bodied guitar like this to sound a little more like a Telecaster on steroids, but that is NOT the case here, as this serial sounds positively huge!

Its low-end presence is tremendous, and the mids and trebles are laden with rich, sparkling overtones. The neck pickup is deep and full-bodied, but it has an uncommonly bright, sunny high-end, which allows you to play chords even with lots of gain. The bridge pickup has a beautiful blend of sparkle, bite, chime, and low-end muscle, too. Using the coil-split toggle allows you to get some awesome thinner, brighter tones, too! This serial is proof positive that less is indeed more, and anyone seeking a rich-sounding, lightweight LP will likely agree after taking it for a spin!

Condition Report

This Less Plus is in fantastic shape! It shows very light signs of normal use, and the only cosmetic flaw to report is a cracked control knob. It comes with its original gold molded plastic hardshell case, too!
