With that out of the way, few duos are more iconic that the Everly Brothers and their matching Gibsons, tight harmonies, and intricate acoustic rhythms. Now, Gibson pays tribute to two of the most powerful Gibson-wielders with the Custom Shop Everly Brothers J-180, an instrument of tremendous acoustic might!

The combination of the jumbo body, spruce top, and maple back and sides give it a voice that is both clear, articulate and powerful. It also sports a nitrocellulose lacquer finish, which allows the wood to breathe and resonate in a spectacular way. And hoo boy, does it ever look cool! The murdered-out finish is James Bond-worthy, the double tortoise mustache pickguards make it look sleek and elegant, and the mother-of-pearl star inlays tie it all together--it makes a statement while seeming understated. To top it off, it has an L.R. Baggs pickup, so it's ready to take on Everly comer from the stage and studio (sorry again about the pun).
