Sonic Evaluation
Man, this Player's Edition Broadkaster is a monster! It has an uncommonly rich voice dripping with harmonic overtones. The attack has a beautiful vintage-style sag with lovely musical compression and excellent note bloom. The bridge pickup sparkles, chimes, jangles, and twangs like nobody's business, with tight low-end, lush highs, and vocal upper midrange. The neck position has plenty of warm bass, broad, throaty mids, and glassy, sweet highs. It sounded delightful clean and with tons of dirt--these pickups are super clear!--and I had so much fun playing it that I annoyed my coworkers with an extended guitar solo while evaluating.
