Used 1993 Fender Custom Shop Albert Collins Telecaster Custom
The Iceman Cometh
Albert Collins is one of the greatest Telecaster slingers ever to set foot on stage, so it's only fitting that the Fender Custom Shop would honor him by making this stellar signature model Tele! Known as the Iceman, Albert Collins spread his signature brand of Texas blues all over the world, and he did it all with a natural-finish humbucker-equipped 1966 Telecaster Custom tuned to open F Minor. This Custom Shop creation is a loving tribute to that guitar, and we are happy to report that it does a stellar job of replicating the Iceman's sound. The bridge pickup is hot, spanky, and dripping with harmonic content, while the neck pickup is smooth, sweet, and fat. Between those two sounds, you can get just about every blues tone you'd every desire! We're quite pleased to Read More...
