Gibson Custom Shop Wildwood Spec 1959 ES-355 Reissue – Gloss
King of the Semi-Hollows
Wildwoodians, this regal Wildwood Spec Custom Shop creation is a reissue of a 1959 ES-355. Although similar to the ES-355 in construction, the ES-355 sports a host of upgraded appointments that truly give it the air of semi-hollow royalty. We're talking an ebony fretboard, gold Grover tuners, block inlays, split diamond headstock inlay, and a bound celluloid pickguard! Of course, it's a sonic titan, too, thanks to its solid maple centerblock and glorious vintage-style Wildwood Spec Custombuckers, which deliver classic PAF vibes in spades. And, the neck profile is a player's delight--not too thin, not too thick. We have no doubt that this kingly semi-hollow will bring you all kinds of musical joy and inspiration!
