For the '57 Standard's big 5-0, Gibson decided to honor it in style by creating a limited run of 157 of these Midas-kissed beauties. It's all gold from the top to the back to the headstock to the hardware, and it looks elegant, regal, and refined enough to fit right in at the Palace of Versailles. The headstock is even gold-plated--how awesome is that?

It also sounds glorious thanks to its Burstbucker pickups, which deliver vintage Gibson tone with a dash of modern heat and clarity. The neck also delivers a fifties feel that makes for a positively addictive playing experience.

All in all, this powerful Paul is a goldmine of mojo and tone, and we have no doubt some lucky Gibson fanatic will enjoy its riches for a long, long time.

Condition Report

This gorgeous goldtop is in fantastic shape! It shows light signs of normal use (basically just some incredibly light scratches and some slight hardware tarnish. Other than that, there are no cosmetic flaws to report. And, it comes with its original hardshell case and hangtags as well as a certificate of authenticity.
