Pete Anderson is a great many things: a Grammy winner, a session player, a musical director to Dwight Yoakam, a producer, a songwriter, and an arranger. But, above all else, he is a master of all things six-string. Masters need versatile tools to ply their trade, and thus we have the Eastsider S, a Swiss Army Knife of a guitar with tons of useful sounds hiding in its chambered korina body.Speaking of which, that chambered body is the building block of this guitar. Korina is a warm yet lively wood with strong midrange presence. Chambering it gives it a little bit of acoustic-like touch sensitivity, and it also imparts a bit of extra sweetness to the sound.
