Used 2003 PRS Custom 24 Brazilian Limited – #47/500
Sonic Evaluation
This Brazilian rosewood-equipped beauty is definitely a collector's item (it's #47 of a limited run of 500), but it's an absolute sonic powerhouse, too! On the attack, it exhibits the sweet, subtle, musical brand of compression that can only come from a Brazilian rosewood fingerboard. After that initial articulate, spongey attack, the sound blooms into a rich, three-dimensional soundscape laden with sweet overtones. The lows are as warm as a cup of coffee with just the right amount of cream, the mids are vocal and chewy, and the highs are open and lush. Anyone seeking a robust-sounding PRS that harnesses the power of Brazilian rosewood will love this serial!
Condition Report
This Brazilian Limited Custom 24 is in fantastic shape! It has some tiny dings and scratches here and there throughout its finish, and there are some pick marks around the picking area, but there are no major cosmetic flaws to point out. There is also some very light fretwear. Most importantly, though, it sounds sweet, and it comes with its original hardshell case!
